About Kate Blair

In 2013, I obtained a Master’s in Cinema and Media Studies from the University of Chicago. While the original goal was to pursue a PhD, I soon realized it wasn’t the right path for me. I’m still an ardent cinephile and keep a record of some of my thoughts here. Selective Viewing is devoted to my continuing exploration of visual media, including cinema, television and video art.
